“When I was 18 years old, I moved out to Los Angeles following high school. My roommate at the time was very into fashion and sewing. She dragged me to a few fabric stores and before you know it I had sat in my room for a whole week hand-making custom jackets for my friends with their names on them. I started getting requests from unexpected friends, family friends, acquaintances, and even strangers. I started searching online for a way to make jackets for everyone and came across the largest trading website of all time, I then started talking with suppliers and unexpectedly began designing my first collection of what would be my clothing brand... The Rookie Movement.

Within the next year, I had made jackets for celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Flo Rida, Chevy Woods, Pia Mia and Youtube stars Erika Costell, Anthony Trujillo, Chance Sutton and many more. In the same time period, I was also blessed with the opportunity to style Snoop Dogg’s 2017 tour and appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Since then, I have come to realize that while my hard work and dedication has taken me to amazing places, I’ve been missing a purpose. Towards the end of 2018, I decided to re-brand The Rookie Movement into a purpose-driven company and gear it towards a void in the women’s sporting apparel industry. I have been working hard behind the scenes and am excited to announce my High Fashion x Sports line launching in the fall of 2019. ”
